This HautePro T-16 stickless fighting pad came from Dmagso and was priced at $80 when ordered. I already had a T-12 before I ordered this T-16 fighting pad, so that should tell you somthing. The Haute T series are nice all button fighting pads. The switches are fast with a short travel and the response feels good.The unit has a very low profile and low weight. The design overall looks very classy.The design does have a draw back, as it is a rather delicate unit. I strongly suggest using care when handling this controler. If you twist or bend the unit at all, the sound of cracking are painful. One gets the impression they could literally taco-fold or snap the unit in two with their bare hands. This was not built for durability, it was build to be light weight, have a thin profile and look good.The buttons have a nice light frosting to them helping to defuse light better than the button caps on the t-12. Lighting is changed by holding the Start+Back buttons and pressing X/Y, A/B, or RB/LB. Patterns, colors and brightness can be controlled. It has a cycling rainbow pattern, solids of every color, and some white plus color arcade color button settings.The unit connected to the Windows11 PC and Switch without any issues. When going between the switch and PC I had to hold a button when pluging the gamepad in, as to change the mode. The back of the pad has a small legend with which buttons should be held with which systems.The unit connects via a USB type C connection to the gaming console or PC. The gamepad also has a USB type A port on the right side for firmware flashing.The switches feel good. They are mechanical 5 pin units and are swapable. One replacement was included with the gamepad, as well as the tool to pull buttons and switches. The travel is very short and light. These are fast. They dont have a tactile bump, but they buttom out quick, so you know you have pressed the key.The little screen on the left upper corner indicates button inputs, turbo activation and firmware number. Turbo is easy to use, just press the button next to the little screen and the button you want to turbo. Repeat to deactivate. Turbo presses and releases the turbo'ed button 8 times per second while engaged.Overall I really like this stickless fighting pad. So much I essentially got it twice.*The layout of the buttons is interesting when comparing the Haute T series pads. The T-12 and T-16 are almost identical, but one has 13 large buttons, while the other has 16. Honestly I prefer the T-12s 13 large button layout. The extra 3 buttons on the T-16 are for L3/R3 (or clicking down on a controllers analog sticks). The T-12 places them on the top row of small buttons, where on the T-16 they are positioned under A, over X, and next to the extra up button. I can see how these could be useful to people, but for me my finger slips from A to the extra button and I have to look down to reposition my hands. This is subjective to user preference and is the only difference between the two gaming pads. They are both awesome pads.
