My grandson just loves them says they sound great.The mic worked sometimes but then other days it did not work so I’m getting different ones at some point.I doubt is brand new, it has been resealed and it didn’t come in the original box. It came in a generic carton box.Came with the box open and product didn’t work. Disappointing as it was a Xmas gift.The metal frame of the headphone is very good - it has some heft but it is very comfortable to wear.The mic is good and picks up the voice well, I can hear the computer sound very well but timbre is a bit muted. I use the headset now for work more than play and it is very suitable for ZOOM / Microsoft Team meetings.The major grip I have with the head set is despite it looks fantastic and the head cushion is great, the covering of the head cushion is pleather and not real leather - after 5 months of use, the pleather started to peel leaving bits of black pleather on your head - NOT FUN to remove. Also be aware that the hard earphone shell is plastic but will tend to feel sticky with time. My HyperX was ordered in HK and came with a brilliant hard box with a pack of silica gel but still doesn't help.The headphone cord is long enough to with plenty of room to spare for putting the audio jack at the back of my iMac headphone port without you putting your face close to the screen.All in all, quite a good pair of headphones if not for the pleather covering of the headrest.My son is extremely pleased with these headphones for his Xbox. I have bought so many and something was always wrong, not this time! Thank y’all
